BMW M4 in Java Green

A BMW M4 in the Java Green BMW Individual colour was delivered to a customer at the BMW Welt in Munich. The special green paint was previously seen on an E93 M3 Convertible, BMW 1M and M6 Coupe.

Just like the Austin Yellow and Yas Marina Blue, the Java Green Metallic is a polarizing colour and will certainly be a head turner on the road.

The other exterior colours for the M3 and M4 are:

 Alpine White, 

Mineral Grey Metallic,

Sakhir Orange,

Black Sapphire Metallic, 

Silverstone Metallic and 

Mineral White Metallic.

Colours such as Java Green can be ordered from the BMW Individual catalogue and it usually comes with a hefty price: 5,000 euros in Europe.

The video below takes us aboard the BMW M6 Convertible and the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG for a comparison acceleration test.

The E63 AMG is powered by a hand-built 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 which produces 577 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque in the top-of-the-line S-Model.

BMW M6 Convertible is powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 560 hp and 680Nm of torque.

As tested, the M6 weighs 2045 kgs while the E63 AMG is slimmer at 1920 kgs.
