We’re almost there!

We were quite keen on keeping you all updated on how the expansion of our West Malling site was going.

We are really excited to say that it is nearly ready to go! The finishing touches are being put in place as we speak, ready for the official opening mid-January.

As always, we wouldn't give you the news without a few sneak pictures. Here are a few snaps of our expansion just before its completion: 

Take a seat on our comfy sofa in reception! 

The photos below show the dedicate children's area. It's almost there, we just need to find lots of games to fill it up!

Here are our private rooms for customers to fill out their paperwork or discuss anything they want to. The desks will be arriving this week and we're ready to rock 'n' roll!

This area will be used for customer advice. When you come to buy a car but aren't too sure what you want, you can take a seat with one of our customer advisor's and they will help you along.

The new kitchen that's going in. We think it looks pretty swish (might need a bit of a tidy though!)

The new toilet is now finished. It is easily accessed by all and even has baby changing facilities!

This is the second kitchen upstairs- all ready to go.

This is one of the board rooms upstairs.

Below shows our new dedicated training room where all new staff members will be trained up.

Just in-case it's raining and you want to wander around site, grab an umbrella.

And here are two of our customer advisors looking rather happy!

Our West Malling site is scheduled for completion and opening mid-January. When it has officially opened you'll be the first to know.

Big Motoring World Expansion | Phase 3

Hello motoring fans,

Whether you’re an avid reader of our blog or not, we’re sure you know that Big Motoring World just keeps getting BIGGER!

The expansion of our site is nearly complete! As it enters its final phase we would like to thank our customers and visitors for their patience whist on-site.

Below are a few pictures of phase one and two of our sites expansion. You can see with just a few weeks in-between the two photo-shoots how much work had been done, with the construction team working tirelessly to get everything done before the winter cold sets in.

And now, our site is very near completion. Fitted with air conditioning and a TV, with delicious coffee and snacks available, we aim to house our customers in style. Do you have children? Not a problem, bring them along. Within our new premises we will have a dedicated children’s play area to keep them amused along with access ramps and baby changing facilities. Have a look at the pictures below to see how far the expansion has come along!

With our brand new reception being built, there won’t be a sales man in sight, until you ask to see one. We aim to make the buying process for all of our customers as stress-free as we possibly can and that is why we have also added a fully-manned call centre with a team armed with all the information you need to know to purchase your dream car.

Once again; we’d like to say a BIG thank you to our customers for being patient with us while we expand but with the expansion in its final phase, we are very much looking forward to seeing you all again soon to show you round our site and showing you all of its new features.

Big Motoring World | Expansion: Final Phase

As I mentioned in my previous post, the builders are running against time to finish before the cold weather kicks in; and I’m sure you’ll agree with me that there’s a distinct nip in the air.

In less than 5 weeks, the project will be completed, and customers can start enjoying the new facilities. Our primary objective is to deliver exceptional customer experience for a used BMW or Mercedes buyer.

Just before the unveiling of the new expansion, our TV production crew will aim to bring you a sneak preview of the new expansion.

Yesterday, one of the new receptionists that will be working here went down to the Big Motoring World Service Centre in Snodland for a day’s induction. I have to say, she is certainly a warm face to meet customers!

Things are changing at Big Motoring World in West Malling, and they’re for better!

Big Motoring World | Expansion: phase two

The Big Motoring World expansion build process is moving fast, and completion is drawing nearer. It is unbelievable how construction has evolved over the years; in less than three weeks, the frame of the building is up. In this update, you can see in the images below that the project has progressed; I’m sure the builders are racing against time to beat the cold weather.

 

The project manager has done extremely well to minimize interference with our day to day operation. And most importantly, our customers and visitors have been tremendously patient when they come on site.

 

 

The best is yet to come; the finishing of the building. We are excited, and we’re looking forward to seeing the finished project. We’ve been having meetings with suppliers, and the materials and equipment we’re purchasing are high-end quality to match this contemporary building.

 

The ultimate objective to deliver main dealership customer experience for a used car buyers is well in sight.

Did you miss the news? Big Motoring World is expanding!

Work is well under way for our site expansion which stated in May 2013. The vision is to create an environment which will allow customers to feel more comfortable whilst shopping for their new car. The expansion will also boast of a new training facility to ensure all our staff are trained to exceed our customers’ expectations.

We are taking the used car market to a different level. This is due for completion by the end of November 2013.
