The BMW 6 Series has been in production for 40 years and a
year after its 40th birthday and its fourth generation there is rumour
of a 6 Series Gran Tourer.
The new 6 series is rumoured to have a very inclined tailgate, fine glass
surfaces, lower ride height and no roof track. The enhanced model is
said to deliver even more luxury and will be more convenient due to its
electric tailgate opening.
There is also talk of at-least one plug in hybrid being
added to the 6 series family whilst the other remain to be power by conventional
methods (petrol, diesel).
With the car due to arrive in 2017, we’re looking forward to
seeing it and taking one for a spin.
