Hi Bloggers,
We hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend. We have exciting news to share with you BMW are introducing a new luxury concept which debuted at the recent Beijing Motor Show which is pointing to the next 7 series.
BMW have recently revealed the Vision Future Luxury concept
at the Beijing Motor Show, previewing the kind of styling, tech and hi-tech
construction we can expect from its premium saloons. The new concept’s
key exterior styling elements, contemporary interior design touches,
lightweight carbon-fiber construction and innovative lighting systems will
likely be incorporated on next year’s sixth generation 7-series.
“The BMW Vision Future Luxury is the messenger of our philosophy of modern luxury,” says Karim Habib, head of BMW design, adding: “It takes our thinking a stage further.”
The exterior styling of BMW’s newest concept car shows signs
of the Gran Lusso Coupe that was wheeled out at last year’s Ville d’Este
concourse in Italy, but keeping up with the market positioning of the 7 series
its overall appearance is more formal. An over-sized kidney grille and slim lined headlamps dominate
a bold front end, while a more elegant looking rear is distinguished by heavily
angled rear windows.
Also hinted on the new concept is touchscreen operation, a
further developed head-up display until with real-time information and a new
iDrive controller.
As well as the lighting technology BMW is hinting will
appear on the next 7-series with the Vision Future Luxury state of the art
laser headlamps and OLED tail lamps which are set to appear first on the German
car makers upcoming i8.
Until next time bloggers stay safe!!
