The
Mercedes-Benz new Actros has been voted ‘Fleet Truck of the Year’ at the
prestigious Motor Transport Awards 2014.
The award
was judged by an independent panel of experienced industry professionals. The
Actros caught the judge’s eye, and was singled out due to its low full
consumption which allows the trucks to do more mpg, lowers the cost of
ownership (cheap to run), unrivalled driver comfort, and excellent parts and
service support through a highly focused dealer network. If anything goes wrong
with mechanical or technical problems it will be solved quickly.
Since the
launch in early 2012, the new Actros has found favour with countless fleets
across the UK and this award recognises that Mercedes is delivering a range of
vehicles and services that their customers can both rely on and value.
