Hi Bloggers,
BMW have lifted the lid on the new M4 convertible which goes
on sale in September for the price of £60,000. Now in its fifth generation, the
high performance convertible model from BMW’s M division replaces the outgoing
M3 convertible.
It’s powered by the
same 425bhp 3.0 litre twin-turbo six-cylinder engine you’ll find in its M3 and
M4 couple. Based on the M4 Coupe, the convertible features the same three-piece
folding metal roof as the 4 Series convertible, which can be stowed away in 20
seconds. It will be better insulated that the previous M3 cab, helping lower
noise levels in the cabin.
Sales kick off in September the M4
Convertible will be offered with the option of six-speed manual or seven-speed
M double clutch transmission twinned with the 3.0-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder
engine.
The drop top shares
all its running gear with the Coupe. An electronically controlled limited slip
differential is fitted as standard, so too is adaptive M suspension and
Efficient dynamics fuel saving technologies.
UK models also come fitted
with 19-inch alloy wheels, BMW professional media package, upgraded Bluetooth
and USB along with all round parking sensors and heated front seats.
