The Wad has landed!

Hello everyone, 

Have you ever been in a helicopter?

Well, one landed in our yard yesterday and who else could it be other than Mr Waddell?

He decided to stop by the office on his way back from auction. Before we knew it, he was off again to the next one. Have a look:

  

  

Two auctions in one day can only mean one thing:

MORE CARS! 

Some have just been delivered to us for their pre delivery inspection and we're expecting the rest of them tomorrow!

That means, this weekend there will be over 98 new cars on our forecourt and website for you to browse and pick from.

Gold at Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics!

Hello all,

Even if you haven’t been following the Winter Olympic religiously or with any interest at all, we’re still sure you would have heard of our gold medal win!

Lizzy is a British skeleton racer who joined the team in 2010 and has now managed to grab gold for Team GB! Do you know what the best bit is? She’s from Kent!

Could we be any prouder?

Congratulations Elizabeth!  

And seeing as we’re already on a roll we've also been awarded bronze. Snowboarder Jenny Jones has pulled in our first bronze medal of the winter Olympics.

Have you heard the news?

Hello all, 

Have you heard the news?  No more smoking in the car if there is a child present!

Although the notion is controversial, it has been backed by the Lords meaning it could become Law within a matter of days! 

The new law will sate that it is a punishable offence to smoke whilst children/ minors are present in the car. If motorists are caught smoking behind the wheel they can be punished with a fine or even points on their licence.

It is something that has arisen due to the concern for children’s health.  Breathing in second hand smoke isn't good for anyone especially small children in a closed environment.

We think that not only will it stop children from inhaling the second hand-smoke it might keep more drivers focused on the road too! What do you think about it?

This is what we did last weekend...

Hello all, 

On Saturday a massive BMW auction took place and of course we were one of the first there.

We really enjoyed ourselves there, had a chat with some friends and got some great cars for you!

Over the course of the day we bid on and won 156 BMWs along with a few other cars. All in all, our bill came to 1.17 million!

This week so far we've had 30 of those cars delivered. Here are some of the cars being delivered:

After the cars have been delivered to us they are logged in and then put through our workshop. Whilst in our workshop they have a Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) and a MOT. After this has been done (and the cars have passed both inspections) the cars are then moved to our forecourts and advertised on our website for you to browse. 

So, keep your eyes open for the new stock soon to be landing at our Addington site and on-line.

BMW 4 Series Gran coupe

Hello bloggers, 

As of February 1^st, BMW released their next big thing: the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe.

The new member to the 4-series family is claimed to be the last addition although, there has been rumours of an M4 Gran Coupe for 2015.  

The new design boasts to follow the trail blazed by the Audi A5 sport, although it has the space of a BMW 4 series. It’s said to have the same length, width, and wheelbase-size as the 4-series coupe. The roof, however, is 12mm higher and the boot has an extra 35 litres worth of space!

We’re quite looking forward to getting our hands on one and seeing if the M4 Gran Coupe is released next year but for now, enjoy the images:

We didn't know it was your Birthday…

Facebook turns 10 today!

We think it’s safe to say that Facebook’s birthday reminders have save us more than once! 

If you are a friend of the Social Media site on Facebook, you would be getting a birthday reminder today as Facebook turns 10 (although the minimum age for joining Facebook is 13 so really, not even Facebook should be on Facebook!)

Facebook was created by Mark Zuckerberg on the 4^th of February 2004. It was originally created in his dorm room with the idea of college students being able to post, talk and message on-line.

Form then it has grown from strength to strength with its induction of the mobile app, Facebook  chat and the infamous like button!
