Within two
weeks of releasing the BMW i8 in the UK, they have sold out! Customers and
future buyers are finding themselves stuck on a 10-month waiting list to get
hold of an i8 in the UK.
BMW Park Lane
dealership in London has ordered 170 but have yet to confirm when the vehicles
will actually arrive.
In Germany,
the BMW i8 starts at €126,000, while in the UK it will cost £ 99,125. The U.S.
market is being sent some i8s later this year, and the starting price will be
around $135,700.
The US are
celebrating the arrival of the BMW i8, the world’s most innovative sports car, by
having a one-of-a-kind 2014 BMW i8 Concours d’Elegance Edition auctioned off during
the weekend of the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, ahead of the official
fall sale date. Here’s hoping we get an invite!
